Why did I stay up all night this morning. I stayed up for the same reason I stayed on the couch this evening, four-hour-catnapping, four-hour-dog-ignoring. I sleep to wake up and I wake up to sleep and when I wake up I might as well be sleeping because the day becomes a hazy dream confined by space, time, and anxious flavors.
